The Exódus® Web3 Wallet browser extension turns Chromium-based browsers into a Web3-ready portal. It’s designed for simplicity without compromising on core self-custody principles: your keys stay encrypted on your device, enabling you to connect to decentralized apps (dApps), swap supported assets, manage NFTs, and track your portfolio across multiple networks from one interface.
Install only from official sources. Open the official Exódus® Web3 Wallet page and follow the “Download for Chrome/Brave” flow. Avoid look-alike websites and third-party mirrors.
Bookmark official pages to prevent phishing later.
Choose Create new wallet to generate a fresh recovery phrase, or Restore to import an existing one. Write the phrase on paper (or a metal backup) and store it offline.
No support agent or dApp will ever need your recovery phrase.
Open a dApp and click Connect Wallet. Select Exódus® (or “Injected”) and review the requested permissions. Confirm only what you understand.
Read transaction details before you sign.
If a site asks for your recovery phrase to “verify” or “unlock” your wallet, it’s a scam. Close the page immediately.
Choose the asset pair, review the quoted rate and fees, and confirm. For larger moves, consider splitting into smaller transactions and comparing total execution costs.
On-chain congestion can affect pricing and settlement time.
View collections, send collectibles, and verify contract addresses before purchasing. Always double-check you’re on the intended network (e.g., Ethereum vs. Polygon).
Wrong-network sends may require bridges or recovery steps.
